Fletch - Un colpo da prima pagina (1985)
Fletch è un giornalista secondo cui il capo della polizia locale è coinvolto nel traffico della droga. Stanwick, un ricco industriale che si dice malato di cancro, gli offre un lauto compenso per essere da lui ucciso. Fletch scopre però che il cancro è una menzogna e che Stanwick e il capo della polizia sono complici. Contro ogni previsione, il nostro eroe esce vivo dalla faccenda e, per giunta, con uno scoop straordinario.
