Biografia:

Vincent D'Onofrio (Brooklyn, 30 giugno 1959) è un attore, regista e produttore cinematografico statunitense. Di origini italiane, ha studiato recitazione all'Actors Studio e all'American Stanislavski Theatre, iniziando la propria carriera in teatro. Ha raggiunto la notorietà internazionale con l'interpretazione del soldato Leonard "Palla di lardo" Lawrence nel film di Stanley Kubrick Full Metal Jacket (1987), ruolo per il quale aumentò considerevolmente di peso. Successivamente ha recitato in film come JFK - Un caso ancora aperto (1991), Malcolm X (1992), Ed Wood (1994), Strange Days (1995), Men in Black (1997) e The Cell (2000). In televisione è noto soprattutto per il ruolo del detective Robert Goren nella serie Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011), che ha interpretato per quasi un decennio. Dal 2015 interpreta Wilson Fisk, noto come Kingpin, nell'universo televisivo Marvel, apparendo in Daredevil, Hawkeye, Echo e Daredevil: Born Again.
