Helen Elizabeth Hunt (nata il 15 giugno 1963) è un'attrice e regista americana. Ha ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti, tra cui un Premio Oscar, quattro Primetime Emmy Awards e quattro Golden Globe. Hunt è diventata famosa nel 1992, interpretando Jamie Buchman nella sitcom Mad About You, che le ha valso tre Golden Globe come Miglior Attrice e quattro Primetime Emmy Awards come Miglior Attrice Protagonista. Nel 1997, Hunt ha vinto l'Oscar come miglior attrice per il ruolo di Carol Connelly nella commedia romantica As Good as It Gets, mentre la sua interpretazione di Cheryl Cohen-Greene in The Sessions (2012) le ha valso una nomination all'Oscar come miglior attrice non protagonista.
