The Man in My Basement (2025)
In de Afro-Amerikaanse wijk Sag Harbor zit Charles Blakey zonder werk, zonder geluk en staat hij op de rand van uitsluiting van zijn ouderlijk huis. Een klop op de deur van de mysterieuze zakenman Anniston Bennet brengt een bizar en lucratief voorstel met zich mee; hij verhuurt zijn stoffige kelder voor de zomer en krijgt genoeg geld om zijn schulden voorgoed af te lossen. Zodra Charles accepteert, wordt hij op een angstaanjagend pad geleid dat de geesten van zijn familie confronteert en de mannen opsluit in een angstaanjagende puzzel, de kern van hun ras, de bron van hun trauma's en de wortel van al het kwaad.
