D.O.A. (1988)
Het leven van een literatuurprofessor neemt een scherpe wending als één van zijn beste studenten zelfmoord pleegt, en hij kort daarna zelf vergiftigd wordt. Volgens de medische diagnose heeft hij nog maar 48 uur te leven, en hij probeert wanhopig in z'n laatste uren uit te zoeken wat er aan de hand is.
