Ein verrücktes Paar (1993)
Die Nachbarn John Gustafson und Max Goldman sind knarzige alte Miesepeter – und weil sie von Jack Lemmon und Walter Matthau gespielt werden, auch sehr lustige alte Miesepeter. In diesem ebenso überdrehten wie zu Herzen gehenden Schlagabtausch verwandelt sich die Dauerfehde der beiden Grantler in einen Konkurrenzkampf mit harten Bandagen, als gegenüber eine attraktive Witwe einzieht. Das verschneite Minnesota bildet die Kulisse, als Max und John ein irrwitziges Feuerwerk von drastischen Streichen und polterigen Sprüchen entfachen.
