Kopfpreis 5000 Dollar (1949)
Mitten im Wilden Westen handelt sich der Spieler Zeb ordentlich Ärger ein. Als ein Widersacher eine Kugel auf ihn abfeuert, fängt ein Wanderprediger sie ab und bezahlt seine edle Geste mit dem Leben. Vorher aber muss der unmoralische Zeb versprechen, eine Kirche zu bauen und ein besserer Mensch zu werden. Zeb beschließt, sich das hierfür notwendige Geld ausgerechnet als Kopfgeldjäger zu verdienen.
