Doctor Sleep (2002)
Dr. Michael Strother ist ein amerikanischer Schlaftherapeut in London. Er besitzt eine besondere Gabe: Er kann in die Seelen seiner Patienten sehen. Diese Fähigkeit führt ihn auf gefährliches Terrain, als er beginnt, Scotland Yard in einem Fall um einen Serienkiller zu unterstützen. Die Polizistin Losey bittet ihn, die Gedanken eines stummen Mädchens zu lesen, die dem Killer nur knapp entkommen konnte. Eine düstere Reise beginnt, als Dr. Strother in die merkwürdigen, geheimnisvollen Visionen seiner jungen Patientin eintaucht.
