Boiling Point - Die Bombe tickt (1993)
Rudolph, genannt Red, Diamond und Ronnie sind Knastgenossen. Nach seiner Entlassung muss Red schnellstens an Geld kommen, da er Mafiaboss Tony Dio eine Menge Geld schuldet. Und Dio versteht in solchen Dingen keinen Spaß. Also nimmt Red zu Ronnie Kontakt auf, damit beide zusammen ein Falschgeldding drehen. Dabei geht es um den Austausch von Blüten gegen echtes Geld. Natürlich erzählt Red seinem neuen Komplizen nicht von den Geldsorgen. Die Aktion scheitert aber, weil Red und Ronnie in eine Falle der Polizei getappt sind. Bei der Flucht erschießt Ronnie den Beamten Russo, bevor dessen Kollegen Jimmy Mercer und Brady auf der Bildfläche erscheinen. Da Red nun immer noch kein Geld hat, versucht er weiter, Ronnie dafür einzusetzen, ihm Bares zu verschaffen, während sich Mercer und Brady an die Ermittlungen machen, um den Mörder ihres Partners festnehmen zu können.
