Valerie Ritchie Perrine war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und ein Model. Für ihre Rolle als Honey Bruce in dem Film „Lenny“ (1974) gewann sie den BAFTA Award als vielversprechendste Nachwuchsschauspielerin in einer Hauptrolle, den Preis der Filmfestspiele von Cannes als Beste Hauptdarstellerin und wurde für den Oscar als Beste Hauptdarstellerin nominiert. Zu ihren weiteren Filmen zählen „Superman“ (1978), „Der elektrische Reiter“ (1979) und „Superman II“ (1980).
