Lustige Sünder (1936)
Als sie wieder einmal lesen muss, sie hätte ein Verhältnis mit einem verheirateten Mann, platzt der Millionenerbin Connie der Kragen und sie verklagt die verleumdnerische Zeitung. Deren Chefredakteur Haggerty sieht zur Rettung seines Blattes nur einen Ausweg: Seine Verlobte Gladys soll mit seinem Ex-Angestellten, dem Frauenheld Bill, eine Scheinehe eingehen. Dann soll sich Bill an Connie heranmachen und dafür sorgen, dass beide im richtigen Moment miteinander erwischt werden und Connies schlechter Ruf "offiziell" bestätigt wird.
