American Perfect (1997)
Sandra (Amanda Plummer) ist mit ihrer jüngeren Schwester Alice (Fairuza Balk) verabredet, gerät aber unterwegs auf dem Highway in einen schweren Autounfall, bei dem ihr unvermittelt ein Kriminalpsychologe (Robert Forster) zu Hilfe eilt, der trotz seiner äußerlich ruhigen und besonnenen Art an einer für den Verlauf der Handlung wesentlichen Marotte hängt - alle Situationen seines Lebens durch den Wurf einer Münze, "Kopf oder Zahl" eben, entscheiden zu lassen. Nur ein harmloser Tick oder Anzeichen psychopathischen Wahns?
