Amanda Michael Plummer (* 23. März 1957) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Sie wurde in New York City als Tochter der Schauspieler Tammy Grimes und Christopher Plummer geboren. Plummer besuchte das Middlebury College in Vermont und nahm Schauspielunterricht am Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. Schon früh interessierte sie sich für das Reiten und die Pferdepflege an der Ostküste der USA und in Irland. Anfang der 1980er-Jahre übernahm Plummer kleinere bis mittelgroße Rollen in Film und Fernsehen. Ihre ersten Erfolge feierte sie auf der Bühne. Ihr Broadway-Debüt gab sie 1981 als Josephine in der Wiederaufnahme von „A Taste of Honey“. Für diese Darstellung wurde sie für einen Tony Award und den Theater World Award nominiert. Im darauffolgenden Jahr gewann sie einen Tony Award als Beste Nebendarstellerin und einen Drama Desk Award für ihre Rolle als Schwester Agnes in dem Stück „Agnes of God“. Nach ihren Erfolgen auf der Bühne übernahm Plummer auch größere Rollen in Film und Fernsehen. Eine ihrer bekanntesten Rollen war die der Alice Hackett in der Seifenoper „L.A. Law“, der geistig behinderten Freundin von Benny Stulwitz (gespielt von Larry Drake), für die sie eine Emmy-Nominierung erhielt. Zwei weitere bekannte Rollen waren die der Yolanda (alias „Honey Bunny“) in „Pulp Fiction“ und der Rose in „So I Married An Ax Murderer“. Ihre Filmrollen wurden als „unheimliche, schrullige, leicht verrückte Charaktere“ beschrieben.
