Dein Leben in meiner Hand (1950)
Nach dem Unfalltod ihres wohlhabenden Vaters heiratet Deborah (Ida Lupino) nach langem Werben den smarten Selden (Stephen McNally). Während der Flitterwochen taucht eine Ex-Freundin von Selden auf. Deborah gegenüber äußert sie den Verdacht, dass er eventuell ihren Vater ermordet hat. Als Deborah sich daraufhin von Selden trennen will, lässt er sie nicht so einfach ziehen.
