Frank Patch - Deine Stunden sind gezählt (1969)
Eine Kleinstadt im Süden der USA um die Jahrhundertwende: Der konservative Marshall Frank Patch ist seit vielen Jahren im Amt und führt ein strenges Regiment. Die Bewohner des Örtchens sehnen sich aber nach Veränderung, nach Modernisierung und beschließen einstimmig, ihren Marshall abzuwählen. Dieser weigert sich vehement, seinen Posten aufzugeben. Daraufhin beginnt eine grausame Hetzjagd auf Patch.
