Profikiller Melvin Smiley hat nach getaner Arbeit gerne seine Ruhe. Leider neigen sowohl Pam, die Verlobte, als auch Chantel, die Geliebte, zu zänkischen Auseinandersetzungen. Die Probleme mehren sich, als Melvin herausfindet, daß sein jüngstes Entführungsopfer nicht nur die Tochter eines reichen Japaners, sondern auch das Patenkind seines Chefs ist. Der beauftragt ausgerechnet Melvin und seine Kumpane, mit den Kidnappern kurzen Prozeß zu machen. Und dann kommen auch noch Melvins zukünftige Schwiegereltern überraschend zu Besuch.
