Lainie Kazan (geb. Lainie Levine) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin aschkenasisch-jüdischer und sephardisch-jüdischer Abstammung mit russischen und türkischen Wurzeln. Sie wurde für den Primetime Emmy Award als herausragende Gastschauspielerin in einer Dramaserie für St. Elsewhere und 1993 für den Tony Award als beste Nebendarstellerin in einem Musical für My Favorite Year nominiert. Für letztere Rolle wurde sie für einen Golden Globe nominiert. Kazan spielte Maria Portokalos in der My Big Fat Greek Wedding-Reihe und Tante Freida in der Fernsehserie Die Nanny.
