Red Heat (1988)
Der hartgesottene Moskauer Drogenfahnder Ivan Danko reist dem sowjetischen Drogenbaron Rostavili in die USA nach. Dort will er ihm das Handwerk legen. In Chicago versucht er, den Mega-Dealer zu stellen. Dabei wird ein amerikanischer Polizist getötet. Der schmierige Art Ridzik, Partner des toten Cops, wird dem Drogenfahnder zur Seite gestellt. Er ist ein Schlitzohr und löst Konflikte lieber mit seiner großen Klappe als mit brachialer Gewalt. Ganz im Gegensatz zum wortkargen Kraftmenschen Danko, dem zur Erfüllung seines Auftrags jedes Mittel recht ist.
