Dorothy Malone (29. Januar 1924 – 19. Januar 2018) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Ihre Filmkarriere begann 1943, und in ihren frühen Jahren spielte sie kleinere Rollen, hauptsächlich in B-Filmen. Nach einem Jahrzehnt erlangte sie ein glamouröseres Image, insbesondere nach ihrer Rolle in „Written on the Wind“ (1956), für die sie den Oscar als Beste Nebendarstellerin gewann. Ihre Karriere erreichte Anfang der 1960er-Jahre ihren Höhepunkt, und später feierte sie mit ihrer Fernsehrolle als Constance MacKenzie in „Peyton Place“ (1964–1968) weitere Erfolge. In ihren späteren Jahren war Malone weniger aktiv; ihr letzter Filmauftritt war 1992 in „Basic Instinct“.
