Der rasende Teufel (1954)
Dem unschuldig wegen Mordes angeklagten Sträfling Frank Webbster (John Ireland) gelingt die Flucht aus dem Gefängnis. Sein Ziel: das Land verlassen. Als er jedoch in einem Imbiss von einem Zivilisten gestellt wird, schlägt er den Mann nieder und nimmt die hübsche Rennfahrerin Conny (Dorothy Malone) samt ihrem Sportwagen als Geisel. Um seinen Häschern zu entgehen, schreibt er sich für das International ein, einem halsbrecherischen Autorennen über die Grenze Mexikos.
