Joel Edward McHale (* 20. November 1971) ist ein US-amerikanischer Stand-up-Comedian, Schauspieler, Autor, Fernsehproduzent, Fernsehmoderator und Synchronsprecher. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch die Moderation der Radiosendung „The Soup“ und seine Rolle als Jeff Winger in der Fernsehserie „Community“. Er hat irisch-amerikanische und europäisch-kanadische Wurzeln. In „Open Season 2“ sprach er die Rolle des Elliot und sprang damit für Ashton Kutcher ein. Außerdem hatte er Gastauftritte als Bankmanager Mr. Jacks in „Spider-Man 2“, als Greg Welsh in „CSI: Miami“ und als Wilbur in „Spy Kids 4 – Alle Zeit der Welt“.
