Victor Jay Garber, OC (* 16. März 1949), ist ein kanadischer Schauspieler. Bekannt für seine Bühnen- und Filmarbeit, wurde er für drei Gemini Awards, vier Tony Awards und sechs Primetime Emmy Awards nominiert. 2022 wurde er zum Offizier des Order of Canada ernannt. Garber ist vor allem für seine Rollen als Jesus in „Godspell“, Jack Bristow in der Fernsehserie „Alias“ und Thomas Andrews in James Camerons „Titanic“ bekannt. Geboren 1949 als Sohn von Joseph und Hope Garber, entdeckte Victor schon früh seine Leidenschaft für die Schauspielerei. Bereits mit neun Jahren verfeinerte er sein Können am Hart House der Universität Toronto und startete damit eine über vier Jahrzehnte andauernde Karriere. Von bemerkenswerten Fernsehrollen in „The Slap“, „The Flash“ und „Motive“ bis hin zu gefeierten Darbietungen in „Alias“, die ihm drei Emmy-Nominierungen einbrachten, erstreckt sich Victors Talent auch auf die Bühne, wo er vier Tony-Nominierungen erhielt. Er ist für seine Leinwandpräsenz bekannt und erhielt SAG-Award-Nominierungen für „Milk“ und „Titanic“ sowie einen Preis für „Argo“. Neben der Schauspielerei lernte er, Trauungen durchzuführen, um Jennifer Garner und Ben Affleck zu verheiraten, und war der Leadsänger der Popgruppe Sugar Shoppe.
