En cette fin de siècle, tout devient possible pour les scientifiques... Diane et Paul, deux biochimistes au physique plutôt ingrat, travaillent d'arrache-pied sur le rêve de tout célibataire : une potion miracle, un élixir capable de rendre amoureux les personnes du sexe opposé...
