Biographie:

Christopher Lloyd est un acteur américain, né le 22 octobre 1938 à Stamford (Connecticut). Né et élevé dans le Connecticut, Christopher Lloyd part pour New York à l'âge de 19 ans où il suit des cours d'Arts dramatiques notamment à la très prestigieuse Neighbourhood Playhouse School of Theatre de Stanford Meisner. Il joue alors plusieurs années à Broadway avant de décrocher à 37 ans son premier rôle au cinéma, celui d'un fou dans le cinq fois oscarisé Vol au-dessus d'un nid de coucou. Il est découvert par le grand public américain trois ans plus tard avec un rôle de drogué devenu récurrent dans le sitcom Taxi. Sa grande taille et son air "bizarre" le rendant immédiatement reconnaissable, il interprète de nombreux rôles de méchants voir Le Justicier solitaire) ou d'excentriques comme dans En route vers le Sud, Tueur de flics) au début des années 80. C'est toutefois son interprétation de professeur déjanté dans Retour vers le futur et ses deux suites qui le révèle dans le monde. Malgré cet énorme succès, il apparaît surtout à la fin des années 80 dans des seconds rôles. Mais, en 1993, La Famille Addams et sa suite vont lui offrir un deuxième rôle très marquant, celui du très morbide Fester Addams. Au cours des années 90, il tourne principalement dans des longs métrages destinés aux enfants tels que P'tits Genies ou Richard au pays des livres magiques et prête à de nombreuses reprises sa voix pour des dessins animés tels que Anastasia et Hé Arnold ! le film.
