Chad est l'actuel président de la production de Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Avant de rejoindre Jerry Bruckheimer Films en 1995, il a été l'un des employés fondateurs de la Motion Picture Corporation of America. Chad a fréquenté l'université de Californie à Los Angeles, où il a étudié l'écriture de scénarios. Il s'est ensuite rendu à New York où il a fréquenté l'Université de New York, où il a participé au programme de production cinématographique de premier cycle. Chad vit actuellement à Santa Monica, en Californie, avec sa femme et ses quatre enfants.
