The Magic of Belle Isle (2012)
Monte Wildhorn è stato un tempo uno scrittore di successo ma, dopo un lungo blocco creativo, si è trasformato in un alcolizzato solitario e si è trasferito in una piccola casa sul lago per cercare di ritrovare l'ispirazione persa. Là fa amicizia con la vicina Charlotte (Virginia Madsen), mamma single di Finnegan, una bambina di nove anni. Per sviluppare le capacità di immaginazione della figlia, Charlotte convince Monte a impartirle alcune lezioni, grazie alle quali lentamente anche la mente della scrittore ritornerà a fantasticare come un tempo.
