Winchester '73 (1950)
Lin McAdam arriva a Dodge City alla ricerca di un poco di buono che si fa chiamare Dakota Brown e col quale ha dei conti da regolare. Lin vince in una gara di tiro un prezioso fucile Winchester '73 Uno su mille battendo proprio Dakota, che però riesce a rubarglielo. Lin si lancia all'inseguimento del malvivente mentre il fucile, in seguito a una serie di avventure, passa tra le mani di mercanti, pellerossa e banditi, fino alla scontro finale tra i due uomini.
