All is lost - Tutto è perduto (2013)
Perso in mezzo all’Oceano Indiano, il viaggiatore solitario senza identità (Redford) si accorge che il suo yacht di 14 metri inizia ad imbarcare acqua dopo aver urtato contro un container che galleggiava in alto mare. Con il navigatore e la radio fuori uso, l’uomo si ritrova nel mezzo di una violenta tempesta. Nonostante la riparazione dei danni allo scafo e la sua intuizione da esperto marinaio unita ad una forza che smentisce la sua età, l’uomo riesce a malapena a sopravvivere alla tempesta. Avendo a disposizione un sestante ed alcune carte nautiche, per tracciare una rotta verso la salvezza, è costretto ad affidarsi unicamente alle correnti oceaniche nella speranza di incrociare delle barche di passaggio. Sotto un sole battente, accerchiato dagli squali e con le riserve alimentari che iniziavano a scarseggiare, l’ intraprendente marinaio si è trovato molto spesso faccia a faccia con la morte.
