Tim - Un uomo da odiare (1979)
Mary Horton è una donna in carriera non più giovanissima e un giorno assume il giardiniere Tim. Il giovane è affetto da ritardo mentale e dunque analfabeta, ma acquista fascino agli occhi di Mary, al punto da innamorarsi perdutamente di lui. Quando la madre di Tim muore, instaura un rapporto più stretto con Mary, poichè gli ricorda la genitrice. Ciò sfocia ad una relazione amorosa creando scandalo e malignità tra i benpensanti. Tim e Mary si ritrovano a dover difendere il loro amore.
