Prove apparenti (1997)
Il giovane Sean Casey, dopo essere stato poliziotto di strada, riesce ad entrare nell'ufficio della procura distrettuale di New York, animato da grandi ideali professionali. Passano pochi mesi, e viene scelto come Pubblico Ministero di un caso delicato in cui si tratta di incastrare definitivamente un famoso trafficante di droga che ha sparato e ridotto in fin di vita un anziano ufficiale di polizia, che è poi il padre di Sean. In tribunale la difesa è affidata all'avvocato Sam Vigoda, noto per il suo impegno politico, e alla sua assistente Peggy con la quale Sean ha una relazione...
