The Help (2011)
Nel Mississippi, durante gli anni Sessanta, Eugenia Skeeter Phelan dopo aver terminato gli studi ha l’intenzione di divenire un giorno scrittrice e raccontare la storia delle discriminazioni razziali a cui sono costrette le donne di colore che, come Aibileen e Minnie, da sempre si prendono cura delle famiglie della zona. La ragazza rivoluzionerà con le sue interviste per un libro la vita di amici e concittadini, costretti a rivedere le loro ataviche convinzioni, di cui la portavoce per eccellenza è Hilly Holbrook, reginetta dei salotti borghesi.
