Deborah Jane Trimmer CBE (30 settembre 1921 – 16 ottobre 2007), conosciuta professionalmente come Deborah Kerr, è stata un'attrice britannica. È stata nominata sei volte all'Oscar come miglior attrice. Durante la sua carriera cinematografica internazionale, Kerr vinse un Golden Globe per la sua interpretazione di Anna Leonowens nel film musicale The King and I (1956). Altri suoi film e interpretazioni importanti e più conosciuti sono The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943), Black Narcissus (1947), Quo Vadis (1951), From Here to Eternity (1953), Tea and Sympathy (1956), An Affair to Remember (1957), Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison (1957), Bonjour Tristesse (1958), Separate Tables (1958), The Sundowners (1960), The Innocents (1961), The Grass Is Greener (1960), e La notte dell'iguana (1964). Nel 1994, avendo già ricevuto premi onorari dal Festival di Cannes e dai BAFTA, Kerr ricevette un Premio Onorario dell'Oscar con una menzione che la riconosceva come "un'artista di impeccabile grazia e bellezza, un'attrice dedicata la cui carriera cinematografica ha sempre rappresentato perfezione, disciplina ed eleganza".
