David Bowditch Morse (nato l'11 ottobre 1953) è un attore americano di teatro, televisione e cinema. Ha attirato l'attenzione nazionale per la prima volta come il dottor Jack Morrison nel dramma medico St. Elsewhere dal 1982 al 1988. Morse ha proseguito la sua carriera cinematografica con ruoli in Dancer in the Dark, The Negotiator, The Green Mile, Disturbia, The Long Kiss Goodnight, The Crossing Guard, The Rock, Extreme Measures, Twelve Monkeys, 16 Blocks e Hounddog. Nel 2006, Morse ha avuto un ruolo ricorrente come detective Michael Tritter nel dramma medico House, per il quale ha ricevuto una nomination agli Emmy Award. Morse ha interpretato George Washington nella miniserie HBO del 2008 John Adams, che gli è valso una seconda nomination agli Emmy.
