Next (2007)
Unter dem Künstlernamen Frank Cadillac arbeitet Cris Johnson als Zauberer in Las Vegas. Was dabei kaum jemand weiß: er kann nicht nur Tauben aus dem Ärmel zaubern, sondern auch zwei Minuten seiner eigenen Zukunft im Voraus sehen. Als er eines Abend durch seine Fähigkeit einen Überfall in einem der Casinos verhindert, will ihm niemand glauben und so bleibt ihm nur die Flucht. Allerdings hat sich schon die Polizistin Callie an seine Fersen geheftet, obwohl sie ihn eher um eine andere Sache bitten möchte: Terroristen planen, eine Atombombe in Amerika zu zünden, und mit Cris' Hilfe hofft sie, die Bombe zu finden, ehe sie Millionen Menschen das Leben kostet. Cris geht aber nicht auf die Bitte ein, da er zur Zeit seine ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf Liz richtet, die er in einem Diner kennen lernt.
