Liebling, du hast dich verändert (1940)
Auf einer Kreuzfahrt, allein, erleidet der ehrbare – und gemeine – Abstinenzler Larry Wilson einen Schlag auf den Kopf. Daraufhin schlüpft er wieder in seine alte, vergessene Rolle als Lebemann und Betrüger George Carey. Um seine Rolle als Wilson auszunutzen, kehrt er in Wilsons Heimatstadt zurück und spielt die Rolle weiter. Doch er hat ein Auge auf dessen Frau Kay geworfen und ist überhaupt nicht damit einverstanden, dass sie ihn verlassen will.
