The Saint in New York (1938)
Eine Kriminalitätsserie in New York zwingt den Polizeikommissar dazu, sich an den Engländer Simon Templar zu wenden, der Gesetzlosigkeit und Korruption mit unorthodoxen Methoden bekämpft. Templer hat es auf einzelne Verbrecherbosse abgesehen und nachdem er zwei bösartige Anführer durch Tarnung und Täuschung zur Strecke gebracht hat, entdeckt er, wer hinter allen Verbrechen der Stadt steckt.
