Afrika um 1913: Die Amerikanerin Jessie Huston bittet den Abenteurer Allan Quatermain ihr bei der Suche nach ihrem verschollenen Vater zu helfen. Bald finden sie heraus, dass der Archäologe offenbar entführt wurde, da er von einem geheimnisvollen Schatz wußte. Abenteuerfilm basierend auf dem Roman "König Salomons Schatzkammer" von Sir Henry Rider Haggard.
