Steve Zahn (* 13. November 1967 in Marshall, Minnesota) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Zahn debütierte als Schauspieler in der Hauptrolle im Theaterstück Biloxi Blues von Neil Simon. Seit dem Jahr 1989 spielte er am American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, zwei Jahre später zog er nach New York City. Bekannt wurde Zahn seit der Rolle im Film Reality Bites – Voll das Leben (1994), in dem er neben Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke und Janeane Garofalo spielte. Seine Rolle in der Krimikomödie Happy, Texas (1999) brachte ihm im Jahr 1999 einen Sonderpreis des Sundance Film Festivals sowie 2000 den Independent Spirit Award und eine Nominierung für den Golden Satellite Award. In der Filmkomödie Unterwegs mit Jungs (2001) verkörperte er den drogensüchtigen Ehemann von Beverly Donofrio (Drew Barrymore). In der Westernkomödie Bandidas (2006) spielte er neben Penélope Cruz und Salma Hayek die männliche Hauptrolle. Für die Rolle im Kriegsfilm Rescue Dawn (2006) wurde er im Jahr 2008 für den Independent Spirit Award und für den Chlotrudis Award nominiert. Sein Schaffen umfasst mehr als 65 Film- und Fernsehproduktionen.
