A Walk on the Moon - Complice la luna (1999)
Estate del 1969. La missione Apollo sta partendo per Luna, la guerra in Vietnam e la protesta delle comunità hippie è al culmine. Eppure la vita non è cambiata affatto per Pearl, una casalinga che non viene neanche sfiorata da questi importanti eventi storici. Pearl sta per partire per Dr. Fogler's Bungalows, una località dove trionfa la cucina kosher e Sinatra è il cantante più ascoltato. La accompagna l'irrequieta figlia adolescente Alison e la nonna impicciona. Un giorno Pearl che ha lasciato il marito a casa incontra Walker Jerome, un hippie tranquillo e affascinante che la fa sognare. Il film traspira un'aria vecchiotta, da film minore degli anni '70, con un'idea improvvisa di libertà, di occasioni e aspirazioni perse per strada, che irrompe a sollecitare emozioni, sradicare personaggi, alterare rapporti.
