Bordertown (2007)
La città di Juárez, al confine tra Messico e Stati Uniti, è una delle principali vittime del BAFTA, il trattato che avrebbe dovuto portare lavoro nello stato latinoamericano limitando l'immigrazione negli States. Qui un personale a prevalenza femminile produce televisori, computer… che verranno poi venduti a prezzi contenuti negli Usa e nel mondo. Queste donne, in gran parte giovani, godono di poche garanzie sul piano lavorativo, e di nessuna su quello della dignità della persona. Centinaia di loro sono state infatti rapite, stuprate e uccise senza che le autorità locali andassero oltre le formalità di rito.
